Kickbass Presets For Serum
Five kickbasses for five bucks, plus a bonus preset for making regular kicks. You need to run these through a bunch of distortion - I recommend guitar pedals or amps for some extra heavy sounds.
This style of “bass” starts with a kick transient, which makes it a bit of a hybrid. These presets were inspired by sounds heard in the DOOM (2016) soundtrack.

How to use these presets
Simply open Serum and process it through your favorite guitar pedal or amp. I like adding the Argent Compressor for extra power.
Use the “Noise” macro to adjust how much top end the sound has. You need less than you think.
Playing a quieter velocity results in a quieter transient. Playing louder makes it louder. Mix it up for a natural-sounding performance.
