The mod wheel controls the filter position. You will like that part. It took me a very long time to get it just right.
I recommend smashing these presets with a digital distortion plugin. The demos below use JST Heat, but there are plenty of others out there.

How to use these presets
Simply open Serum and process it through your favorite distortion plugin. These kind of basses usually sound good with a little bit of reverb, so try that too. Some people like to add a lot of FX.
Use the macros to change the tone and “node” speed. Use the mod wheel to get some really gnarly filter action going.
